24 things you can do to start 2024 off from a place of growth

As things start to slow down for December now is the perfect time to reflect, get organised, and plan for the year ahead.  In this episode, I’m sharing 24 things that you can do this month to start 2024 off from a place of growth.

As things start to slow down for December, there’s a lot less to do in our businesses. Both ourselves, our clients, and potential clients are spending less time online, more time with family and just enjoying the holiday season.

While I really love a slow December, I also love to use this month to prepare for the year to come and just have a bit of an end-of-year clean within my business. I love to start the year with a fresh slate, feeling organised and prepared and with most of the world collectively taking this time to slow down and celebrate the holidays, I find it the perfect time to get prepared for the upcoming year and also do some things that I wouldn’t normally have the time to do.

So in this blog post, I am going to be sharing 24 things that you can do this month to start 2024 off from a place of growth. Before we begin, I will just say that you DO NOT have to do all 24 of these things. I just wanted to create a list so that you can pick and choose what feels good to you and leave what doesn’t.

Connection & collaboration

1. Reach out to past clients to wish them a Merry Christmas (& a happy new year) and let them know how much you enjoyed supporting them over this past year

2. Follow up with warm leads, who didn't convert this year, with how you can help them in 2024

3. Reach out to past customers and clients to request any testimonials that you didn’t get before

4. Reach out to 5 like-minded business owners you'd like to collaborate with in the New Year

5. Send a survey to your audience to see what content they enjoyed most from you this year & what they'd like to see in the New Year

Planning

6. Conduct an end-of-year review (if you don't know what this is, listen to ep 18 of the podcast)

7. Set your goals for 2024 (both personal & business)

8. Put any promotional dates for 2024 into your calendar (e.g. holiday sales, launch dates, summits/bundles)

9. Create your sales & marketing plan for 2024 (I walk you through how to do this in episode 19)

Organisation

10. Make sure your profile picture & branding is cohesive access all your social channels

11. Remove inactive subscribers from your email list

12. Unfollow any accounts on social media that don't bring you joy

13. Review your subscriptions and cancel any you don't use

14. Organise your desktop and downloads folder and clear them of digital clutter

15. Update your website with fresh testimonials

Profit generating activities

16. Audit your offer suite

17. Re-evaluate your pricing - Does it reflect the transformation your clients & students experience?

18. Update (or create) your resources page with links to any affiliate programmes you're part of

19. Create a tripwire offer or order bump

20. Update your welcome & nurture sequence

21. Survey past customers & clients to see how you can improve your offers

22. Create an affiliate/referral programme

23. Send an email to your list letting them know how they can work with you in 2024

& finally…

24. Relax & give yourself a huge pat on the back for how far you've come this year
