Marketing is always changing and evolving, which means that the things that may have worked for you a few years ago (or even last year), might not work for you now.

In this blog post, I’m sharing 3 ways that you can get more eyeballs on your offer - and these aren’t shiny trends that are popular now, but won’t work in a few months time. These 3 tips are all timeless, simple and sustainable marketing strategies built into the fundamental core of marketing. And no, they won’t go out of fashion, no matter how much the industry changes and evolves. These are strategies that will evolve with you.

1. Collaboration

We’ve been talking a lot about the power of collaboration on the podcast recently, and for good reason! Collaboration is such a timeless strategy that allows you to put yourself in front of thousands of new people in such a short frame of time.

You could collaborate by…

  • Podcast guesting

  • Speaking in summits

  • Contributing to bundles

  • Creating guest trainings inside paid communities

There are a million and one ways you could collaborate, and if you are looking for ideas then I definitely encourage you to download my free guide: 18 Ways to Grow Your Audience Through Collaboration.

When you collaborate with other business owners, you’re putting yourself out there as an expert. You get to choose a topic that you specialise in and then present yourself, your business and your offer (whether free or paid) in front of a whole new audience. And the more people see you, the more you’ll be recognised as an industry leader.

I’ve landed multiple private clients and brought in thousands of dollars in passive income through collaboration over the past year alone. So if you haven’t tried this strategy, get yourself out there - start pitching yourself for these opportunities and I promise you, you will see so much growth!

2. Mini Offers

You’ve probably seen an abundance of $9, or $27 offers floating around the online space, and you might see these and think “Oh they’re just a good way to get some extra passive income” and you would be correct, but there is so much more to the strategy than that. If you are intentional about the low-ticket offer you’re creating, you can use it as a tool to sell your higher-ticket courses, programs and 1:1 services.

Once someone purchases something from you, even something small, they’re 60% more likely to buy from you again - which means that the people who purchase your low-ticket offer are much more likely to convert into your high-ticket offers. They already know you through that initial investment. They got great results from that first product and so they know that if they work with you in a higher capacity, those results are going to be amplified.

I’ve had students sign up for a $37 offer from me, and then go on to buy a $197 course, and then go on to hire me as their mentor for $1000 per month. So creating a mini-offer with the intention of it leading to your course or service is a great way to increase conversions for your offers.

3. Talk about your offer consistently

Seriously. There are so many business owners out there who rarely post about their offers and then wonder why they aren’t selling.

The two common reasons they don’t talk about their offer are either because they launched their offer when they first created it and now just feel like their audience already knows about it so they don’t need to talk about it again. Or, they don’t want to talk about their offer because they don’t want to get seen as ‘salesy’ and they don’t want to annoy their audience.

These mindsets are detrimental to your business, and if you want to grow, you are going to have to get over that slump and talk about your offers every day. And there are a ton of ways that you can talk about your offer without making it the main point of your content.

You can….

  1. Create an evergreen email sequence where you cycle through your different offers and send value-driven emails that relates to those offers

  2. Share the behind-the-scenes when you’re working with clients

  3. Include a P.S. whenever you share a piece of content that relates to your offer

  4. Share client or student case studies

There are so many ways to talk about your offer in a way that feels natural, and if you want some more details on this then you should definitely go and listen to Episode 57: How I Sell Every Day, Without Making My Audience Feel Sold To.
